NESAC Director recruitment: the listed deadline is 31 October

What is confirmed

ISRO’s recruitment page identifies advertisement DS_8C-12012/1/2026-Sec.VIII, the Director post and NESAC as the centre. The official listing shows a 31 October deadline.

The detailed advertisement and bio-data format are linked from ISRO’s page. Eligibility, required service background, application route and any deputation conditions should be read directly from those documents; this summary does not invent a vacancy count or salary.

Who should examine the notice

Because this is a Director-level post, candidates should carefully check the stated service and experience criteria before preparing an application. The label alone does not tell a reader whether they qualify, and a general ISRO job guide is not enough to establish eligibility.

The application route and documents can differ from regular open recruitment. Follow the precise instructions and use the official bio-data format if the notice requires it.

Time-sensitive checklist

The listed deadline is 31 October 2026, only a few days after this publication. Verify the latest page for any corrigendum and confirm the method of submission before sending documents.

This is a specific official notice, not a claim that a new vacancy was announced today. The source date is 30 September; the 27 October article date reflects a current deadline check.
